If you would like to arrange a funeral service for a loved one at Rainham Parish or Wennington Parish Church, please ask your Funeral Director to contact the Parish Office. We have clergy who would be able to conduct a funeral service. We will always do our best to provide help and support to those who have been bereaved. Your Funeral Director should be your first point of contact to arrange a funeral but please contact us if you have any question or support needed.

Interment of Ashes

For your information, we are able to offer interment of ashes in our picturesque Garden of Rest, located in the Churchyards of both Parish Churches. Though plots are not able to be marked, our Gardens of Rest provide a calming space for remembrance and reflection.

Bodily Burials

Burials in the churchyard are available at Wennington Parish Church only, under one the following conditions:

I am a current worshipping member of Wennington Church.
I live in Wennington Village.
I have had a personal historic connection with Wennington Church.
